Network cable should be connected to the ethernet port of the MSS

Should a network cable be connected to the ethernet port to access the hosted web content?

The My sCool Server consists of several services that are served over a network and require an IP address to be assigned to it at all times. Once an IP address is assigned to it, other devices know where to request for the content. This is needed even when directly accessing content, via a browser, on the MSS itself.

Hence, it is advisable to always have a live ethernet cable connected to the My sCool Server while using it.

One of the ethernet network profiles i.e. static or dynamic should be active. To know more about switching between network profiles do refer the user manual.
