For rapid creation and optimum performance while using Linux from the USB bootable live media, we recommend USB 3.0, minimum 4 GB media.

DVD media can also be used, but due to its slow performance and susceptibility to damage, it is no longer recommended.

Once you have the requisite media, you can request your teacher or computer lab in-charge to create the bootable USB pen drive as per steps given in the administration manual.
