What does the MSS warranty cover?

MSS products come with a 1-year limited warranty provided by Recherche Tech LLP.

The appliance's hardware is covered with comprehensive OEM carry-in warranty. The warranty on the entire unit or its parts may vary depending on your MSS version and its components. In most cases the MSS unit is covered for three (3) years and the hard-disk for two (2) years. For the first year, Recherche Tech LLP provides full assistance in availing the warranty service from the OEM. Beyond first year, the same assistance is only provided to those who have availed the extended warranty and support service.

The bundled software support is limited to providing built in "Factory Restore" for a period of one (1) year. If the functioning does not return to the state it was shipped from our "factory" or there is a hard disk failure then the customer will be responsible for shipping the device to our nearest support centre for replacement. The replacement shall be done free of cost within the first year and beyond the first year if the device is under extended warranty.

The warranty and  support cover can be extended at a nominal cost, details of which are available in the pricing section.
